ACCOMMODATION & FEEDING
For
the horses

The
horses will be stabled at Combeleigh Farm. We have eight purpose built
standard internal boxes of 12’x12’. Each box has fitted
no-slip nylon mats and we use shavings for further comfort. A tack
room and feed house are located in the same barn. We will supply:-
Combeleigh Hay, ‘Dodson & Horrell’ Fibre G, ‘Baileys’
High Fibre feed, in quantities required by an average sized horse
in relationship to work undertaken.
Please
note, if different feeding, supplementation etc. is required we recommend
you bring it with you or we can discuss on an individual basis.
For
the humans
Situated
opposite the horse barn, a second barn in which half has been converted
internally. This has a couple of toilets, a reception area and small
kitchenette in addition to a larger room which is utilised in a number
of different ways, as a treatment clinic for humans, a lecture room
or small meeting cum dinning area. This is
where
we hold dinner on the first evening to allow everyone to meet and
greet us and the other riders.
A small distance of 1½ miles from Combeleigh is the small village
of Wheddon Cross where nighttime B&B accommodation has been arranged.
We will transport you (and your luggage) to and from the village each
evening and morning so that you can have a fully relaxed break and
possibly, if you are so inclined, partake of alcoholic beverage of
an evening to enhance the holiday spirit.
The
first evening meal and three days of packed lunches plus breakfast
with your accommodation are all included. The second evening meal
is not included, we leave you to choose and pay for what you wish
at the local pub which provides both bar and restaurant meals.
Please note, it is important that you inform us of all your dietary
requirements to enable us to cater correctly for you during you visit.
