In
this picturesque corner of Exmoor National Park we hope to share with
you stunning views of Dartmoor to the south and the Bristol Channel
to the north from the beautiful heather clad slopes of the Dunkery
Hill. We wish to introduce you to rides down quiet leafy lanes to
hidden coombes with glistening streams and rivers in their base.
The
area is famous for its ancient woodlands and surrounded by a mosaic
of traditionally managed farms bordering wide-open moorland. From
your horse you are in the unique position to experience the wonderful
sights of wild Red Deer, herds of Exmoor ponies and an abundance of
bird life varying from the Buzzards above to the tiny inhabitants
of moor and woodland.
Combeleigh farm is positioned on the southern side of Dunkery Beacon.
Its situation of approximately one mile from the small village of
Wheddon Cross makes for easy accessibility to local pubs and B&Bs
for guests to stay in.
We
can on occasions try to accommodate different dates from the
above for parties of 4 or 6 persons. Please contact us on info@equusamor.com or phone 01643 841354 to discuss.
